A TEAM of investigators sent by the Office of the Governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao rules out the possibility of further violence between warring groups in Sulu once a fair and just resolution of the conflicts is given proper attention through dialogue.
The panel of investigators left on May 4 for Jolo, Sulu, to meet with Sulu Governor Benjamin Loong and other local officials to dig deeper into the case.
While in Sulu, the team also met with the officials of the military's 104th Army Infantry Brigade, Marine Brigade, and the police.

Amore partnered with the Japan and British Embassies for potable water systems in Sultan Kudarat and with the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF) for the solar-powered potable water system in Kahikukuk, Banguingui (formerly Tongkil), Sulu.
PEF is also supporting Amore's introduction of sodium hypo chloride for water treatment in remote Sulu barangays.

Carreon said the speedboat in which the AMORE personnel were on board was heading for Canas, off Maluso town in Basilan, when one of its engines bogged down, she said.
