LONDON--Anthony "Tony" Anholt, the handsome stage, TV and film actor best-known to his fellow Britons for his role as the smarmy tycoon Charles Frere in the British primetime soap "Howard's Way," died here July 26 of a brain tumor.
Anholt was born in Singapore in 1941, and never knew his father.
Anholt and Childs married in 1990 and divorced in 1998.

For the duration of the trial she is to be hidden at Paul Buchet's flat, which at least gives Tony Anholt something to do, even if it's not something very interesting.
Tony Anholt gives his all here, admittedly not very much but you have to respect him for his efforts, and produces myriad variations on a pained struggle with his bonds.
The other good thing is Tony Christie's title song "Avenues and Alleyways", a belting number which features on the end credits.

Aside from a bit of romance between Maya and Tony, this is a pretty basic "guy in a lame monster suit chasing around Alpha" episode, with David Prowse (Darth Vader of Star Wars) as the monster.
While Koenig and Tony are investigating a derelict spacecraft, the moon encounters a Space Warp sending it light years across the universe, leaving Koenig's Eagle behind.

Of course, he is not who he says he is. This episode is similiar to Star Trek's Who mourns for adonis, but I really like this one.
I did like the catacombs and the part where Tony is trying to console Osgood is probably the best piece of acting that he had done at this point in the series.

There’s a fragile sense in the first season of a frail humanity trying to struggle to survive up against a vast and inexplicable universe.
The second season alas is much more disappointing with the first season’s best actor, Barry Morse, being dumped in favour of good-looking leads in the form of Tony Anholt’s deputy commander and the perkily sexy Catherine Schell’s exotic shape-changer, and the series somehow losing the more conceptually interesting cosmic vision that it previously held.
