Tony appeals to Lori to play down Bill's role in the criminal enterprise in order to minimize his sentence for the sake of his disabled son.

While the second collaboration of these two musical giants has gotten the better critical reception, in fact both Tony Bennett and Bill Evans albums are beyond reproach.
