Anthony Drew Dorsett (born April 7, 1954 in the Pittsburgh suburb of Rochester, Pennsylvania) was an American football running back who was a star in college football and the NFL.
Dorsett was a star running back at University of Pittsburgh and helped to lead them to a national title in 1976, also picking up the Heisman Trophy, the Maxwell Award and the Walter Camp Award while setting NCAA college records.
In his NFL career, he rushed for 12,739 yards and 77 touchdowns and caught 398 passes for 3,554 yards and 13 touchdowns.

As he cleared the blocker, he hit Dorsett sideways as if he were blocking him but the hit was so high that the centrifical force simply thrust Dorsett's feet and legs straight up and the back of his head slammed into the turf.
After the picture was taken, I approached Dorsett, introduced myself, and extolled his virtues as a great college and pro running back whom I had seen many times in person but I went on to say that I was there when he got the SH-- knocked out of him on Owen Field.
