		Indeed, this is likely to be the last year for Newcombe and Tony Roche as employees of Tennis Australia in a Davis Cup capacity.
		Newcombe and coach Tony Roche have breathed new life into the Australian team and handled Philippoussis well after his acrimonious split with the team in 1998 which saw him ostracised by fellow Australians.
