Even though Tony had Cystic Fibrosis as a child and had these transplants, he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in Feb. 2004 that had spread to his liver and was given 2 weeks to live.
Kathy mentioned how Tony was no good at table tennis at first and even though she had played since she was a child, Tony practiced and in a short time, was able to beat her.
Towards the end, when Tony and I knew that we were not winning this match we decided to try to hit the other players in the head with the ball as hard as we could.

Tony is also featured on 2 Grammy award winning albums "The Long Black Veil" and "Riverdance The Show".
Though Tony was involved with Riverdance the Show since it's creation in Dublin in 1994, November 1999 saw him returning to his native Wicklow to concentrate on his first love, traditional music.
Recently Tony has Produced an album for Irish soprano Katie McMahon recorded with Fiddler extraordinaire Liz Knowles and Directed the music for an Irish dance Video "Dancing at the Crossroads" and intends to produce and record his Solo album later this year.
