  8W - Who? - Tony Trimmer
In a way the Roberto Moreno of his time, Tony got stuck in uncompetitive machinery and yet plugged on for more than a decade, up to the point he was embarrassingly stacking up his talent against sorry opposition in backyard championships.
Trimmer's second acquaintance with an F1 car came in 1973, when Tony took over the remaining Connew chassis acquired by Swiss businessman Pierre Soukry, who had been campaigning the car unsuccessfully in F5000.
Trimmer had the honour to knock the car into the barriers at Brands, damaging the illustrious monocoque beyond repair.

From the off, it was Tony Trimmer who demonstrated that although he had not driven the Lola T332 in a race for 4 years he had lost none of his pace and quickly set about making Pole Position his own ending qualifying with a lap of 1:26.521sec.
As Tony received his winner's garland and champagne he dedicated the win to John Jordan (who had sadly died the week previous to the race), as John had entered the car back in the 1980's for Tony during his very successful formula libre exploits.
Tony Trimmer also took the honour of posting the fastest race lap in his Lola T332 F5000 car with a time of 1:26.773sec.

 8W - Who? - Divina Galica
On a high note, it was the race Galica started from the front row, outdragging poleman Trimmer's similar Surtees into Paddock and pulling out an enormous lead in the early part of the race, in the process setting fastest lap of the race on lap 3.
She immensely enjoyed leading an F1 race before the feared Trimmer Tremor came back with a vengeance, a blistered tyre badly affecting her handling by mid-distance, to the point Galica thought she had a puncture.
Divina was first caught and passed by her nemesis and then by Emilio de Villota, who also had taken Trimmer at the start and had severely defended Galica's lead before the Spaniard had to succumb to Trimmer's pressure.

The reader must rely on Trimmer`s drawings that depict him as a weird- and creepy looking kid with bulging eyes and big white teeth.
