 Filmtracks: Total Recall (Jerry Goldsmith)
Total Recall was a top grossing, critically embraced action film of the highest order, with the right director, the right actor, the right story, and the right composer happening upon each other for an enormously entertaining result.
Because of the futuristic setting of the film and the questions of individual identity suffered by the story's primary character, Goldsmith unleashes his electronics with unequivocal force, allowing them to not only supplement the orchestra, as they do during the chase scenes, but also commandeer entire cues with their majesty.
With seventeen more tracks of music from the film (all of which ordered as they are heard in the film), the album is packed to its limits with pure Goldsmith mastery.

Total Eclipse (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Total Eclipse is a 1995 movie directed by Agnieszka Holland that depicts a fictionalized account of the intense but also abusive homosexual relationship between the two 19th century French poets, Paul Verlaine (David Thewlis) and Arthur Rimbaud (Leonardo DiCaprio), a time when both of them experienced a height of creativity.
The most common criticism was that the film never explained the importance of these two great poets' works, especially their role in the development of the decadence or symbolism movement.
Gay film critics noted how the film allowed the two poets to come out of the closet, and made a point to deal with the gay and straight love scenes with equal fairness and validity.
