		Die Toten Hosen is a German punk band from DÃ¼sseldorf.
		Vom replaced WÃ¶lli as the drummer in 1999 (WÃ¶lli's untimely departure from the band was due to injuries caused by a car accident), who himself had replaced Trini in 1985 and is still an honorary member of the band; Trini became the band's manager.
		Die Toten Hosen have collaborated with numerous other musicians (like Bad Religion, AC/DC, U2, Rolling Stones); they are also one of the few German punk bands popular outside of Germany (esp. in South America, Australia, eastern Europe) other notable bands being Die Ãrzte and WIZO.

		You see, Die Toten Hosen originate from the city of Düsseldorf, which is about 20 miles from Cologne, but Cologne and Düsseldorf are very competitive neighbors.

		Die Toten Weg is the newest dish of darkwave/industrial served up by Fockewolf (who are, by the way, not from Germany, despite the somewhat misleading band/album name), with a recipe of syncopated drums, atmospheric waves of synthwork, and haunting female vocals.
		That being said, Die Toten Weg is still a worthy release, and shows that Fockewolf certainly has the ability to rise to the top of the industrial/darkwave genre; they only need to fine hone their skills somewhat.
		They are certainly worth a listen to any who are seeking more atmospheric darkwave/electrogoth music which still retains the hard edge of more some of the more aggressive bands in the EBM/industrial genre.
