		Former world champion John Higgins cued his way to a brilliant 147 break at the Totesport Grand Prix in Preston tonight.
		The 29-year-old Scot compiled the fifth maximum of his career and the first of the new season in frame three of his match with England's Ricky Walden.
		Earlier, Mark Williams became the highest ranked casualty of the Totesport Grand Prix when he lost 5-2 to Ireland's Michael Judge.
