Toul is situated in a plain on the left bank of the Moselle, which skirts the town on the S. and S. E., while on the N. it is bordered by the Marne-Rhine canal.
Toul is the seat of a sub-prefect and has a tribunal of commerce and a communal college among its public institutions.
Toul was forced to yield for a time to the count of Vaudmont in the 12th century, and twice to the duke of Lorraine in the 15th, and was thrice devastated by the plague in the 16th century.

Space was made available in the Jeanne d'Arc hospital/elementary/middle school complex just east of the city of Toul, and exactly one month after the decision was made, TAHS opened for classes on September 5, 1962.
It was closed at the end of the 1965-66 school year as a result of the French withdrawal from NATO, and the relatively few remaining students once again went to Verdun, which remained open for another two years.
TOUL - The new Toul American High School, located at the Jeanne d’Arc U.S. Hospital site here, is today a source of wonder for education officials of the USAREUR Dependents’ Education Group (DEG) School System, and for American educators in general.

Nawal is an artist that looks for new and original music, Toul Omri is a nice song with a nice beat followed by an excelent video clip that brings the song to life.I hope Nawal works harder on choosing the rest of the album songs.
However, it isnt the salsa rythm of "Tool Omry" thats the reason, in fact, that may be the best song in the CD but it does not even slightly compare to Alayaali, Maalum, Dal'ona, Mandam 'alaik and Nawal's other amazing hits.
Her previous albums used to be on overall good ones but this one shows one or two acceptable songs only: Toul Omry and Kam layla.

Toul Sleng Museum used to be a high school, but was turned into a prison by Pol Pot's security forces in 1975.
It was called Security Prison (S-21) and became the largest detention and torture center in Cambodia.
It was a emotionally draining and depressing experience visiting Toul Sleng Museum, but it gave me a lot of insight into the Khmer Rouge reign of terror.
