We just want~to produce a comic that is very professionally done that we have fun doing and getting involved with.
What happened when I designed that - because I designed the Tower - I was just trying to get a double T shape, the outer shape of the building being a T and the windows forming a second T. Trying to be cute, "Teen Titans" and all that stuff.
At that specific point, I had just taken a staff job here, I was writing my full load of comics, I was doing a special project for DC that took 3_ months to do, and two or three other problems going on all at the same time.

As I recall, Tower didn't have as many comics-related accounts as Musicland because the latter was a bit more aggressive with anime -- it sounds like Tower's accounts have a great chance of being better taken care of in this incidence, anyway.
The fact that Tower carried comics, albeit dependent on the individual store, was in the 1990s one of the few signs of interest from the outside world in the rapidly snowballing fruits of the comics medium.

Made official today, Marvel Comics has announced that it's signed a deal with author Stephen King to launch a new comic seres adapted from King's series "The Dark Tower." The first issue hits stands in April, 2006.
Having read the whole Dark Tower series (and most of the books that tie into the series), I can say that I am glad this series is not taking place after the end of book 7.
Wizard and Glass tells us Roland's first recognition of his quest for the Tower, but his actual first setting out on that quest with other gunslingers in tow is only mentioned sparingly throughout the series.

Interviews with this master comic book artist are rare - there are less than a half dozen that have ever been published.
Wood (he often signed his work simply as 'Wood') was one of my all-time favorite comic book artists, I bought new books, old books, anything with his artwork in it.
The news that Wood might not work again in comics stunned me. So I sent away my ten dollars for two copies of his new magazine Sally Forth, and added a short note to say how much I loved his comic book work over the years.
