Town Hall is a major underground railway station in inner Sydney, Australia, 1.2 km from Central.
The station services the CityRail trains of several lines: the Northern Line, the North Shore, the Eastern Suburbs line and the lines served by the City Circle, namely the Bankstown Line, the Airport and East Hills Line, and the South Line.
The station opened on 28 February 1932, although originally only four of the platforms were in use.

Out of the City Stations after North Sydney, i would look at Town Hall (occuring - and i dont quite agree with the new design i saw - all stairs are replaced with high speed escalators, with the old ones also replaced with high speed escalators.
(Maybe they were parts-compatible with the older ones then in use at Town Hall, Wynyard and North Sydney?) They're not even especially reliable these days, despite most having had their "25 year overhaul" to use RailCorp's words.
Ahead of wynyard, central and town hall i presume.

The train just skipped Town Hall due to a "police operation", although upon arriving at Wynyard it was then made obvious it was due to a fire.
People everywhere pushing and shoving not advice as to how to get around – no choices I was redirected on to trains going through town hall to central and then back through town hall to Wynyard.
