		A trade paperback (TPB), sometimes referred to as a trade paper edition) is a paperback book that is usually the same size as the hardcover edition.
		Trade paperbacks are typically priced less than hardcover books and higher than mass market paperbacks.
		In the medium of comic books, trade paperbacks are sometimes used to reprint several issues of a comic series in one volume, usually an important storyline or the entire series itself.

		A parent might be willing to buy their child a $2.50 comic book, but the $12.95 minimum for a trade paperback may be a different matter altogether.
		While comic books may have begun as something for kids, they have matured beyond that, and the target audience is now in their teens, so the question of affordability may be moot.
		The solution to this situation is that comics publishers will have to be ready and willing to publish a trade paperback featuring mutliple stand-alone stories, something they seem reluctant to do at the moment.

		This first compilation consists of the first 4 issues of Futurama Comics and for the most part that is all there is to it.
		The covers that are reproduced from the original comics are well done but I think they could have been bigger and more prominent.

	Echo Station Ep 1 Trade Paperback
		No need to wait for the Episode I comics series to come out -- it's already been compiled into a trade paperback graphic novel.
		I'm not an artist, or an expert on comics, but I can tell you that this graphic novel worked for me. My number one complaint about some of the Star Wars comics has always been that the characters didn't look anything like the actors in the movies.
		All in all, I'd say this is a beautifully drawn, well produced book that should appeal to a lot of people besides just the usual X-Wing Rogue Squadron fans, of which I am one.

		It’s not original — on her downtime, Wendy plays videogames and makes cracks about how the characters look, jokes that are likely very familiar to this comic’s audience — but it’s executed with skill.
		The art, by Les McClaine, has the right kind of light-hearted attitude to carry the material, and I appreciate the way he tones his pages to add weight and solidity.

		Publisher's Weekly Comics Weekly, the free e-mail based news report from the book industry's magazine of record, had in its issue yesterday an interesting interview with Alan Moore in which the best mainstream comics writer of all time says he's asking his name be removed from comics outside of his ownership.
		This includes a great many DC Comics' trade paperback perennials like V For Vendetta.
		It's a smart request because it throws the spotlight on the fundamental exploitation of artists through various crappy deals by underlining the assumption that a long-ago contract engenders perennial support of said effort.
