Confucius lived his life within the last quarter of the period thus defined, and cannot be understood without some acquaintance with this older China, out of which he came, and of which he was himself a part.

  The Mental Aspect of Trading
A trader could sit in front of a screen all day waiting for a recognizable pattern to occur and have nothing happen.
There are also aggressive traders who have had big years, but ultimately blow-out, ruin their health or lead miserable lives from all the stress they put themselves under.

TraderE has to be a trader – not because they feel that trading is their ‘calling’ BUT because they either don’t have a job or don’t make enough money at the job they have AND they ‘need’ the money.
However, this trader OR anyone who is trading money they don’t feel that they can lose – what is referred to as trading ‘scared’ money - has to accept their situation, and that no one is going to become a profitable trader because they need a ‘job’, it’s just not going to happen.

Theme 4, Paper 6: From Corporate Responsibility to Social Accountability
The Ethics Group includes two HR directors in very large companies, an engineer and international business owner, a mid-level group administrator in a large accounting and management consulting firm, a banker with broad corporate responsibilities, the president of a marketing company, a computer systems analyst, a securities trader and an educator.
This Community Ethic urges that a company or government unit, as represented by corporate and individual actions, always consider the effects of its actions on everyone (and, in environmental matters, on everything) who might be affected by the action.
We are seeking to promote the ethic and template to other large companies and to government units in the hope of raising public awareness of the religious principle and therefore of religion, and of helping companies and government treat people better.

There is some more controversial but difficult-to-refute evidence from cognitive science and from primatology that human females may have better intuition for tolerances, and human males may be more inclined to thinking in terms of preferences.
A more abstract debate where tolerances versus preferences is invoked is one between approval voting (based on tolerances) and preference voting (usually called instant runoff voting although technically approval voting is just as instant and likewise runs off the least-approved candidates, negatively).
