	Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge Trail Page
		The trail entrance is adjacent to the Bluff Lake levee near the spillway and is marked with a large sign.
		This trail is located at the north end of the Bluff Lake levee and across from the parking area near the sign for the Trail of Big Trees.
		This trail is wheelchair accessible, and the visitor may see a variety of plants and animals including giant blue stem, bald eagles, Indian grass, white-tailed deer, and various species of waterfowl.

	VWA SALMON CREEK Trail Condition Report
		The trail is quite passable all the way up to the Coast Ridge Road, but the shrubs are starting to encroach on the sides of the trail and overhead during the last two miles or so.
		And finally, the trail is quite overgrown, and just gets worse and worse the further you go--the first mile or so is reasonably passable, but from then on, there are several sections where you almost need to crawl through the brush because it has grown across the trail at the 4-foot level or even lower.
		Trail from Spruce Camp to Estrella camp was also passable, although the tread was washed away in a few sections, but easily accessible and almost impossible to lose.

	Trail Companion - Fall 1999
		After a short distance, the Mt. Eden Trail descends to the right; take the Canyon Trail (another fire road) as it forks to the left and climb to the nose of the ridge for the first great view up the canyon.
		Past the flat area, the Canyon Trail rises very steeply for a distance, with a large and rugged limestone outcrop off a small spur trail on the right about halfway to the top.
		Despite poor maintenance, the descent is not as difficult as the ascent was and the trail passes through a pleasant bay grove when it crosses another creek.

	Sunnyvale Baylands - Part 1 - The Bay Trail and Hills
		The next Bay Trail segments to the east are easily reached by traveling through the wide and uncrowded streets of the historic bayfront community of Alviso.
		Bay Trail signs flank this trail and point along the main trail as if to discourage people from taking the salt pond trail The trail around the salt pond is unmarked, but is not blocked off and is accessible, if not always in great shape.
		The paved trail along Calabazas Creek reaches a junction at a larger paved trail at the creek bridge at 2.2 miles.

	South Bay Bicycle Trail
		The South Bay Bicycle Trail is a 22-mile paved path that runs from Will Rogers State Beach to Torrance County Beach.
		Most of the trail is on the beach, although a few sections are on city streets.
		The trail connects to all the piers and the Strand in Venice Beach.

	Appalachian National Scenic Trail - Appalachian National Scenic Trail (U.S. National Park Service)
		The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) is a 2,175-mile long footpath stretching through 14 eastern states from Maine to Georgia.
		ATC is the volunteer-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and management of the A.T. and its associated lands - a 250,000 acre greenway from Katahdin to Springer Mountain.
		The longest footbridge on the Appalachian Trail is the James River Foot Bridge located in Virginia.

	Trail 174, Saint John's, Santa Fe National Forest - USDA Forest Service
		From the parking lot to the Santa Fe National Forest boundary (at the powerline), the trail is on private land, so please stay on the trail.
		(This is the Wilderness Gate Subdivision road along which is located the small parking lot for Trail 170.) Cross the road, climb the steps, and continue on the trail as it briefly follows the road to the south then turns east and begins to climb.
		This is a very busy trail and is used primarily with Trail 170 to either create a short easy loop in the foothills, or to continue on Trail 170 to the summit of Atalaya Mountain.

	Yosemite Valley
		This trail is the steepest climb out of Yosemite Valley, taking hikers up switchbacks toward Snow Creek, North Dome, and the north rim of the Valley.
		The Four Mile Trail, primarily used by day hikers, travels up switchbacks from the valley floor to Glacier Point providing many stunning vistas of the valley en route.
		This trail passes through the area burned in the 1990 fires and crosses two unbridged creeks which can be difficult in the spring.

	The Trail
		The Ghost Town Trail name is derived from the sites of once thriving coal mining towns of Bracken and Wehrum along the trail corridor.
		The trail is operated by the Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority in Cambria County and by Indiana County Parks in Indiana County.
		The red notice under the Bracken sign is a warning of trail conditions after one of the several washouts of 1996.

	Withlacoochee Trail State Park
		At 46 miles in length, the Withlacoochee State Trail is presently the longest paved rail trail in Florida.
		The trail corridor runs through small towns, ranches, and natural areas as it makes its way south from Citrus Springs to Trilby.
		Among the recreational highlights nearby are the unpaved trails in the Croom area of the Withlacoochee State Forest, the Withlacoochee River (South) Canoe Trail, and Fort Cooper State Park.

	Kipp Road Trail (part of the North Country Trail System)
		A great trail to plan a weekend trip on as there are several campgrounds on or just slightly off the trail approx.
		Many of the hills near the beginning are rewarded with excellent high speed sections further down the trail.
		The trail is nice and tacky and of course its not too hot.
