Tralla La is a Scrooge McDuck comic book story by Carl Barks.
Scrooge and his nephews, who are there to support his healing, finally succeed in locating the mythical place and parachute into it.
Don Rosa wrote a sequel to the story, Return To Xanadu, in which Tralla La is revealed to be the valley of Xanadu.

Rosa's maturing artwork is detailed without the overabundance of frills and sidebar gags seen in more recent stories, his "moral" gently taps the reader on the shoulder rather than swatting him or her in the mush, and his characterizations are excellent.
If Tralla La tested the Ducks' endurance in "Xanadu," then their wits and emotions are pushed to the limit in "Comet Get It!", written by Kari Korhonen, drawn by Tino Santanach, and dialogued by Annette Roman.
After Magica De Spell discovers an ancient grimoire and butchers one of the spells therein, thereby directing the "Black Chariot" Comet to head toward Earth and a potentially devastating impact, the sorceress is forced to swallow her considerable pride and ask Scrooge to help finance her efforts to locate a counter-spell.

In this story are mainly used references to Barks' "Tralla La" (W US 6) and "The Lost Crown of Genghis Khan" (W US 14).
Strange detail : the man near the source is also from "Tralla La", except that in that story, he didn't have a dog nose but a human nose!...
An other panel from "Tralla La" is used in "Last Sled to Dawson" (AR 113), in "The Guardians of the Lost Library" (D 92380), and in Lo$ 12 : "The Richest Duck in the World" (D 93488).

 Marco Polo
First, in "Tralla La", Scrooge asks a man if he knows where is Tralla La, and the man answers that his grandpa once told that his own grandpa had seen a traveller who had seen the valley.
Marco Polo pretended he found the Kingdom of Priest John, and when he arrived in Cathay, he talked about this to Kublai Khan, who invaded the Tibet and entered the Kingdom, where he carried his treasure and his grandfater Genghis Khan's Crown.
In the same story, one of the nephews tells that Tralla La had to be a high cultural place, during Marco Polo's time.

Obviously these stories have an element of fantasy to them, but HDandL having a tie to Xanadu?
A third tie to Tralla La? Knowing Rosa's affinity for cinema, I've gotta think it's tied to Lost Horizon somehow, but I really have no idea.
I hope we get to see the story too, though!
