  Invincible Defence
Transcendental Meditation (TM) is practised for fifteen to twenty minutes in the morning and evening, while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed.
The Transcendental Meditation Programme is the most direct way for the fulfilment of the supreme philosophy of life, where the individual lives life in full enlightenment, and where the individual breathes life in Cosmic Reality.
Transcendental Meditation helps the awareness to transcend boundaries and go beyond the field of limitations; this is how Transcendental Meditation, providing the opportunity to create unboundedness, infinity, eternity, satisfies the inner creativity and inner genius of life by providing an opportunity for the full expression of Creative Intelligence.

  Transcendental Club
Transcendentalism was not only a literary, philosophical, and religious movement; it was also, inescapably, a social and political movement as well.
In religion transcendentalism teaches that the religious spirit is a necessary aspect of human nature--or of the human condition--and that the religious spirit does not reside in external forms, words, ceremonies, or institutions.
Transcendentalism's commitment ot the individual and to the principle of individuation is a commitment to the soul or spirit that each person possesses in common with all other human beings.

  Algebraic element
Elements of L which are not algebraic over K are called transcendental over K.
These notions generalize the algebraic numbers and the transcendental numbers (where the field extension is C/Q, C being the field of complex numbers and Q being the field of rational numbers).
Fields that do not allow any algebraic elements over them (except their own elements) are called algebraically closed.

Field extension - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If L is an extension of K, then an element of L which is a root of a nonzero polynomial over K is said to be algebraic over K.
It consists of all those elements of L which can be gotten using a finite number of field operations +, -, *, / applied to elements from K and V.
A simple extension is finite if generated by an algebraic element, and pure transcendental if generated by a transcendental element.

Primitive element (field theory) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This means that every element of L can be written as a quotient of two polynomials in ζ with coefficients from K.
If the extension L/K admits a primitive element, then L is either a finite extension of K, in case ζ is an algebraic element of L over K, or L is isomorphic to the field of rational functions over K in one indeterminate, if ζ is a transcendental element of L over K.
The primitive element theorem of field theory answers the question of which finite field extensions have primitive elements.

Conceptually, after the element is rendered into an RGBA offscreen image, the opacity setting specifies how to blend the offscreen rendering into the current composite rendering.
If the element is a container element, then the effect is as if the contents of the element were blended against the current rendering composite using a mask where the value of each pixel of the mask is .
Thus, there is no notion of which elements the descriptors apply to, or whether the values are inherited by child elements.

 Ideas-Reform-Theodore Parker
As a Transcendentalist and Unitarian Minister, Theodore Parker (1810-1860) dedicated his life to social reform, from higher critical methods of studying the bible to advocating women's rights and the abolition of slavery.
He and Ralph Waldo Emerson were good friends, sharing similar transcendental views in living simply, honestly, through self-reliance and Reason.
Theodore Parker was our Savonarola, an excellent scholar, in frank and affectionate communication with the best minds of his day, yet the tribune of the people, and the stout Reformer to urge and defend every cause of humanity with and for the humblest of mankind.

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Transcendentalism
The terms transcendent and transcendental are used in various senses, all of which, as a rule, have antithetical reference in some way to experience or the empirical order.
If, however, to the data of sequence furnished by experience we apply the a priori form causation, we are introducing a transcendental element which elevates our knowledge to the rank of universal and necessary truth: "Every effect has its cause." Kant, as has been said, does not always adhere to this distinction.
Therefore, he defined the task of philosophy to consist in the examination of knowledge for the purpose of determining the a priori elements, in the systematic enumeration of those elements, for forms, and the determination of the rules for their legitimate application to the data of experience.

He defined as transcendental the non-empirical or a priori elements in our knowledge which do not come from experience but are, nevertheless, legitimately applied to the data or contents of knowledge furnished by experience.
Therefore, he considered the tasks of philosophy to be the examination of knowledge for the purpose of determining the a priori elements, the systematic enumeration of these elements (for forms), and the determination of rules for their legitimate application to the data of experience.
American Transcendentalism was born in the 1830s as a dynamic movement of New England writers and thinkers.

Boston Collaborative Encyclopedia of Western Theology: Karl Rahner
This is the transcendentality of human being that is basic to Rahner’s notion of the pre-apprehension of being (Vorgriff auf esse).
Rahner’s transcendental theology is centered on the belief that human openness to transcendence is founded in the pre-apprehension of the infinite reality or the transcendent God.
It is a kind of relationship between the two elements in such a way that "the transcendental element is always an intrinsic condition of the historical element in the historical self" while "in spite of its being freely posited, the historical element co-determines existence in an absolute sense" (Rahner, 208).

Algebraically, generic values of a parameter can be simulated by introducing a new transcendental element to the field of constants.
Since many algorithms and theorems are valid over arbitrary fields of constants, the investigation of generic situations can often be performed by a single study of a special situation over a field extension.
Algebraic geometry does usually not deal with problems involving transcendental functions (sin, log, exp; these are dealt with in analytic geometry) and order relations (<,>: these are dealt with in semi-algebraic geometry).

What it signifies at its deepest is that each human being is the outward manifestation of a transcendental mystery, often called God or eternity, and that this mystery is the source of a worth, or dignity, that is immeasurable and thus renders its possessors incomparable.

God in Kant's Critique of Pure Reason   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-02)
He defines reason and its proper scope in terms of the 'conditions of possible experience' or the 'conditions of the possible cognition of objects.'1 These conditions are transcendental, which means that they have to do with the elaboration of rules for what could be the content of any objective cognition.
By discussing transcendental conditions Kant is shifting from speaking in terms of content, as traditionally done, to speaking in terms of method.
In contrast, Kant calls the concepts of pure reason 'transcendental ideas.' He defines an idea as "a concept formed from notions and transcending the possibility of experience."11 There is no empirical element in transcendental ideas.

Mysticism, the core of the last phase, is a synthesis between the animistic mythology and the transcendental theology.
So, for example, a transcendental theology could preclude the attempts at, or at least the expressions of, extreme states of unitive experiences of the divine, that transcends, by definition, the human condition.
The mystical element in Judaism was, therefore, obliterated by the somewhat misunderstanding of Scholem's statements.

The computation of h' is of interest in its own right, but it also aids in determining the class number h of a function field K because h' and h are equal up to a certain factor.
In unit rank 2 extensions, we need to take the logarithms (in the number field case) or the degrees (in the function field scenario) of two fundamental units and of any one set of their conjugates, and R is essentially the absolute value of the determinant of these four quantities.
R is another invariant of K (once again depending on the transcendental element t in a function field extension).

I see it quite problematic to lump such difficult concept as 'transcendental' (in philosophical sense) together with religion, death and humour.
Secondly, in relation to 'transcendental' it would be clarifying to make a distinction between 'transcendental' and 'transcendent' (in the original German, provided I remember properly: 'transzendental' vs. 'transzendent'): the former referring in general to the conditions and possibilities of experiential (or observational) knowledge, the latter referring to to that which exceeds the former.
Instead, in a sense transcendental philosophy is contrary to metaphysical speculation.
