		For high power transmitters in the MW range masts with lengthes around the half wave of the radiated wavelength are prefered because they focus the radiated power better to the ground than constructions with heights of quater wavelengthes, which are prefered of economical reasons for low power medium wave transmitters.
		For longwave transmitters however the construction of masts with heights of half-wave wavelength is, because of economical reasons (and perhaps problems with the flight safety), in most cases impossible.

		Method of compatibly increasing the resolution in a color television system employing offset modulation at the transmitter and offset demodulation at the receiver and transmitting a reference signal during the vertical blanking interval.
		Method as defined in claim 3 wherein the frequency of the second component is equal to the difference between the highest frequency of the signal portion providing increased resolution and the frequency of the first component.
		Thus there is phase synchronism between the offset modulation at the transmitter and the offset demodulation at the receiver.

		The transmitter was put on the air yesterday at half power (50 kW) and should now be operating at full power 100 kW.
		The transmitter feeds through a multiplexer into the ARRT antenna which is otherwhise used by two 50 kW longwave transmitters on 261 and 139.
		These transmitters have also changed from B5 Aktuell to Bayern 1 and are parallell to 801 except for the foreign workers programmes.

		Trouble is, the Sines transmitter on 6075 closes down at 2200 (if I recall the schedule correct), leaving only Wertachtal on this frequency for the remainder of the night.

		Joe Zander from Zweydingers in Hemmingen, Germany gave me a shout recently about their line of beautiful handmade skis.
		All that's required to power the transmitter is a single 9V battery.

		Comments: I was diagnosed with ADD (attention deficit disorder), OCD (obsessive cumpulsive disorder) and clinical paranoia and spent two Years at Greenpark Mental Institution.
