You Are The Music…We're Just The Band was the band's final album for the label and also the final studio album to feature Glenn Hughes who shortly after the release of this album left for fame and fortune with Deep Purple.
This was a band playing at the top of their game musically speaking and I would imagine that all the touring, particularly in America had turned them into an amazingly tight unit as one listen to the opening track Keepin' Time will prove.

Released on their second album, "Medusa", in 1970, it was the first album to feature the "new look" Trapeze, which had been trimmed down to the trio of Mel Galley on guitars and vocals, Glenn Hughes on bass and vocals, and Dave Holland on drums.
This line-up released Trapeze's self-titled album in 1970, but Rowley and Jones were forced out of the band and rejoined their previous band, The Montana's, leaving our three friends the job of placing this great blues/rock outfit on the map.
The band's first, self-titled album was released that year, and it established the band as one of the better soft rock bands around at the time.
