 Washington County case has state Supreme Court redefining law
County Attorney Kimberly Nass discussed the state Supreme Court’s ruling on a zoning appeals case involving an addition to a home on Big Cedar Lake.
Since then, the county's Board of Appeal backed by the state’s Department of Natural Resources, a Washington County Circuit Court judge and a three-member state appeals court all rejected the homeowners' appeals.
The court, however, did decide that Wisconsin courts should go back to a 1976 definition of the phrase "unnecessary hardship" as it relates to boards of adjustment variance cases, backing away from a 1998 state Supreme Court opinion.

Am researching the KING and FROST families of Dodge and Jefferson Counties, in particular the family of Arvah and Permilla Baird FROST and the family of George Gilbert King and Aseneth Ticknor.
GOTTFRIED died in Dodge County on Aug. 8, 1904 and MINNIE died in Dodge Co. on Jan. 30, 1892.
I think that they were only in Dodge County for up to a year around this time, as they immigrated in 1867 and were in Shawano Co. in 1869.
