 Trey Azagthoth biography
Trey Azagthoth entered the world of the flesh in 1965.
Trey remembers on holiday family vacations, they'd go to his cousins house, and he was really into the occult, he had jars all around his room full of animal organs, and shelves of satanic books.....
Trey was disgusted with these people and wanted to create a band that would destroy those cock-rockers, and show the world was evil really is, he wanted to recreate the horror of the description of the Ancient Ones in the Necronomicon, and give praise to the Ancient Ones, and honor them with his music.

 Trey Azagthoth & Anthony Robbins - Prepare-to-die.com
Trey's solos on this album were pretty weak too, in that they lacked the chaos and sheer VENOMOUS ATTACK that Trey was reknowned for on their previous albums.
Trey began reading Tony Robbins, and gushes endlessly in interviews about Tony's ideas and how he is the 'master of all unstoppable mastery mastership', how 'everyone is born just full of potential', but 'it's in the moments of our decisions that our destiny is shaped'.
Trey has always said that he wanted Morbid Angel to be like 'a vessel for The Ancient Ones' to flow through - for the band to essentially channel the power (real or otherwise) of the Ancients and bring it forth upon the world.

Morbid Angel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Morbid Angel is a Florida-based death metal band assembled in 1983 which was crucial in the development of the death metal genre and standards.
Their songs are quite complex in arrangement, owing to the considerable skill of guitarist Trey Azagthoth and drummer Pete Sandoval.
Morbid Angel were one of the original death metal bands signed to Earache Records, and were also instrumental in the transition of death metal from its thrash metal roots to its current form.

Morbid Angel - Progressive Death Metal
As in all Morbid Angel releases, the point of focus is the fast and flagrantly complex guitar fiendishness from Azagthoth, both in the form of architectural, nihilisitc, Slayer-style riffing and in organic solos of massive complexity.
Trey Azagthoth's maniacal atonal lead guitar inverts symphonies into nihilistic and expressive masterpiece works of sculpture, using technique and composition in liberated ways at high speed and high density complexity.
Azagthoth's guitar establishes dominance from the beginning with an almost parasitic ability to manipulate the music around it, creating centerpieces of harmonic motion which overlay and resignify the rest of the song.

Trey Azagthoth (Real name George Emmanuel III, born 1965, Tampa, Florida) is an American musician.
He got his first guitar when he was 16: a red B.C. Rich Ironbird.
His style is impressionistic, fractured and "twisted"—he has said that he wanted to achieve the sound of an eight-track tape, backwards, that was dragging, "a chaos, a madness, as if piranhas were jumping out of the speakers and biting you".

David Vincent's Satanic growl, Pete "Commando" Sandoval's drum artillery, and the squiggly guitar "lava" of bloody Trey Azagthoth and Pete Brunelle: the might of these eventual kings of death metal was on full display here, with some highlights being "Maze of Torment", "Lord of All Fevers And Plague", and "Chapel of Ghouls".
With Pete "Commando" Sandoval's blasting drum artillery, Dave Vincent's aggro growl, and Trey Azagthoth's unhinged squiggly guitar leads, these Floridians made death metal for Satan that was bloodier and fler than anything outta Norway before or since.
Bandleader/guitarist/Cthulhu worshipper Trey Azagthoth took a break from his favorite online first-person shooter computer games to craft this followup to Morbid Angel's 1997's death metal masterpiece, "Formulas Fatal To The Flesh", along with bandmates guitarist Eric Rutan, drum tornado Pete Sandoval, and vocalist/bassist Steve Tucker (he of "Cremaster 2" fame).

Groups like Venom, Mercyful Fate, and Slayer may have founded death metal in the early '80s, but it wasn't until such disciples as Morbid Angel came along at the close of the decade that the genre was pushed to its most extreme level, both musically and lyrically.
From its inception, the group's leader has been guitarist/songwriter Trey Azagthoth, who has successfully maintained that Morbid Angel stick to their guns throughout countless musical fads during their career.
Over the course of their first few releases, 1989's Altars of Madness and 1991's Blessed Are the Sick (the latter considered by many as a landmark release in the death metal genre), the group's lineup consisted of Azagthoth, vocalist/bassist David Vincent, guitarist Richard Brunelle, and drummer Pete Sandoval.
