News - Treyarch doing Bond game // None /// Eurogamer
Treyarch is working on Activision's first James Bond game, the publisher has confirmed.
The news that Treyarch will be handling the publisher's first foray into the world of the British super-spy is hardly surprising though, as the developer's stock has grown considerably in recent years thanks to the likes of Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Ultimate Spider-Man.
Treyarch is currently developing Call of Duty 3 for Activision.

Treyarch is going back to the websligers roots and are basing their next title on the ever popular Ultimate Spider-Man comic series.
Treyarch also seems to have clued into the fact that the best way to challenge a super-hero is to face them off against a super-villain, so players can expect more recurring altercations with Venom (in a variety of different scenarions) as well as bouts with other super-powered folk such as Rhyno and Electro.
Treyarch has taken some Marvel-approved liberties with the specific abilities of the character in order to ensure that the experience differs sufficiently from playing as Spidey; as a result, Venom's web-slinging abilities from the comic have been nixed, leaving players with a powerful leaping ability as the primary means of navigating through the city.
