		Also, it is possible that camphor, although presumably soluble in triacontane, is more soluble in a simpler alkane than in triacontane, and also that it is more soluble in the simpler alkane than triacontane is. In that case, one could try to do the separation by adding a simpler alkane such as hexane.
		Another possibility that occurred to me is that as the triacontane cools, the solubility of camphor in it will decrease and some will come out of solution.
		Since camphor has a higher melting point than triacontane, it would be possible to pour off the solvent to remove the solid camphor.

		Examination of the coexistence curves in reduced units for the two triacontane isomers and for n-octane and 2,5- dimethylhxane shows that both molecular weight and branching can lead to deviations from the principle of corresponding states.
		Analysis of the molecular structures in the vapor and liquid phases points to a partial collapse (self-solvation) of the triacontane isomers as the likely origin of the deviations from the principle of corresponding states.

		While accurate vapor pressure data are included for triacontane, this compound proved too unstable to directly determine the critical constants using this apparatus.

		My main question is calculating the percent yield.
		The process produces several hydrocarbon alkanes, anywhere from methane (CH4) to triacontane (C30H62).
		Most of the chains will be somewhere around C5 chains to C20 chains; temperature varies the yields.
