Now that the Triannons believe Archer is dead, the captain is able to counter their attack.

I liked how they were able to tie in real world events into the story line, the Triannons waging a holy and are willing to kill themselves for their beliefs (suicide bombings in Isreal) and abortion.

In this case, we have a group of aliens from a race called the Triannon, who believe the mysterious Delphic Expanse spheres are religious icons that were created by their gods, called the Makers.
Because the Triannon are unknowns who exist apart from any society or belief structure this series has looked at, we're unaware of their point of view, and "Chosen Realm" is loath to give us much, especially in the way of the opposing Triannon viewpoints with which this group is at war.

The fact that these people thought the expanse was some divine sign and shouldn't be messed with totally reminds me of how terrorists in today's society see Americans messing with " Their" holy land!
T'pol almost seemed like she was upset even though it wasn't real.
