Slavic mythology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Two gods, Perun and Veles/Volos, are mentioned in the text of the early 10th century peace treaties between pagan rulers of East Slavs and Byzantine Emperors.
Gods such as Koleda and Kupala were constructed from misinterpreted names of popular Slavic folk festivals; Koledo was the Slavic name for Christmas processions of carol singers, whilst the source of the name Kupala is unknown.
The world of gods and mortals was situated in the centre of the earth (considered to be flat, of course), encircled by a sea, across which lay the land of dead, where birds would fly to every winter and return from in spring.

Belobog - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On the east side of rivers, a good, white god (equivalent of Zoroastrian Ahura Mazda) was worshipped, whilst the west side was reserved for his enemy, an evil, fl god (equivalent of Zoroastrian Ahriman).
Perun, being the god of thunder and sky, was worshipped in high places, whilst the places reserved for Veles, the god of underworld and cattle, were in lowlands near rivers or springs.
With the arrival of Christianity, the once supreme god Perun was usually identified with heavenly saints (or sometimes even with the Christian God!), while Veles, being a god of the underworld, had the bad luck of ending associated with the Christian Devil.

 BookRags: Triglav Summary
TRIGLAV, a three-headed deity of the heathen Slavs, was literally named: from tri,"three," and glava, "head." Worship of him in the temple at Szczecin (Stettin), Pomerania, is attested by Herbord, Ebbo, and Monachus Prieflingensis, the three biographers of Otto, a twelfth-century bishop of Bamberg.
The fl horse and the mention of the underworld suggest Triglav's ties with Veles-Volos, the god of death and the underworld, a deity standing in opposition to Sventovit, the god of heavenly light, who was associated with a white horse.
Triglav may also have been related to Chernoglav, the "fl god," who had a silver mustache and who was worshiped at Rügen, as mentioned in the Knytlingasaga (1265).

According to Procopius, these Slavs worshipped a single god, lord of all, who crafted lightning and thunder; though the historian does not mention the name of god explicitly, it is clear from his description that it was Perun.
Statues of gods with multiple faces and remains of shrines with multiple sacrifical altars confirm written reports of Christian missionaries about the Slavs worshipping polycephalic gods, and also indicate that ancient Slavic mythology apparently put great emphasis on worship of gods with more aspects than one.
Gods such as Koleda and Kupala were constructed from misinterpreted names of popular Slavic folk festivals; Koledo was the Slavic name for Christmas processions of carol singers, whilst Kupala comes from Ivan Kupala (literally: John the Baptist), whose festivity day is celebrated at the summer solstice in many Slavic countries.

God is the principle of Morality, but not by His mere will, which, abstracted from all other of His attributes, would be neither just nor unjust.
There are two Gods, one of Good and the other of Evil, each independent, eternal, chief of a distinct Empire; necessarily, and of their very natures, hostile to one another.
The God of Good is infinitely his Superior, the True God; while the other is but the chief of all that is the Enemy of God, and must in the end succumb to His Power.

Please, we implore you, take the time to read our articles so you may finally know the Truth of Jesus Christ, the God of the Universe which Masons contemptuously call an "inferior god", and Whom they never, ever mention in their teachings or their rituals.
All throughout the Bible, God condemned magic in the strongest possible of terms, and those who practiced it.
In the True Biblical account, God forbade Adam to eat the fruit; therefore, Masonry is calling the God of the Bible a Demon; in the Biblical account, it was Satan who induced Eve to transgress; but Masonry calls Satan an Angel of Light.
