He is a rapper who was discovered by mega-producer and performer (as well as the self-proclaimed "King of Crunk") Lil Jon while performing at a school concert in his hometown of Atlanta.
Along with labelmates Trillville, Lil Scrappy was one of the first signings to Lil Jon's BME Recordings.
Lil Scrappy released a dual EP with labelmates Trillville entitled The King of Crunk and BME Recordings Present: Lil Scrappy and Trillville in February 2004.
