Trinity Church, which was burned during the Revolutionary War, saw the official end of the conflict and is the resting place of many martyrs of the revolution, including Alexander Hamilton.

Trinity Church, the Parish of Saint John, was founded by United Empire Loyalists whose allegiance to the British Crown during the American War of Independence forced them to leave the former American Colonies.
Trinity Church was consecrated in 1880 by the Most Rev. John Medley, the first Bishop of Fredericton and Metropolitan of Canada.
The church is 150 feet in length and built in a style of architecture described as "late early English Gothic" expressed in pale limestone walls and polished granite pillars, with interior woodwork of fl ash with fl walnut moldings.
