	Fictional materials in the Stargate universe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Trinium is a metal that is very brittle in raw form but can be refined into a substance 100 times stronger and lighter than steel.
		It is unknown if trinium is in fact an element or an alloy of other metals.
		It should be noted that trinium is distinct from tritium.

		If the walls of a storage room are made of trinium, it's a good bet the whole ship is. In fact the walls of the storage room looked exactly like the walls of the rest of the ship, which is another good indicator.
		Presumably the method we use to mine and process trinium is also human in origin, since we were ready to start doing that almost as soon as we discovered the material.
		Mining trinium is simple given that it would be akin to any other kind of mining, Unas themselves mine it using primitive techniques.
