 | | Trotter, 76, died at St. Mary's Hospital from complications of alpha 1 antitrypsyn enzyme deficiency, a disease that leads to liver cancer. |
 | | Trotter, UGA's first female vice president, was responsible for all areas of teaching, research and service as well as all other academic matters including curriculum, faculty appointments and promotions, instructional resources and libraries. |
 | | Born in Boise, Idaho, Trotter was raised in Manhattan, Kan. She received a doctoral degree in family economics, housing and higher education from The Ohio State University. |
