Girl Trouble is one of the longest-running bands of the Puget Sound area (from beautiful Tacoma, Washington).
It wasn't pretty but the rest of the band was certainly not as ready to call it quits as I was and since things were really starting to cook they decided that a new singer was in order.
Fortunately for me his entire tenure with the band was only a little over a year--due mostly to various musical differences between him and the rest of the band, plus his strong desire to sacrifice practice for the latest kegger didn't fly well with everyone else.

 Encyclopedia: Trouble (band)
Trouble is an American (proto) Doom Metal band noted for their slow (by 80's standards), heavy albums such as their 1984 debut Trouble (later Psalm 9) The Skull (1985) and others.
Other than their influence on the just-emerging subgenre, they are also known as being one of the better, more prominent Christian metal bands, now or then.
While most slow songs by Iron Maiden or Saxon tend to border on ballads, all of tracks on The Skull are as heavy as they are slow, with the distinctive fuzzy distortion and melodic, integral (rather than superfluous or ostentatious) guitar solos that are all their own.

Trouble Dolls: The Colossus of Rhodes
The Trouble Dolls' roots go back to Kudzu, the cowpunk band formed by singer Cheri Leone and guitarist Matty Karas in 1986, when both were attending high school in Huntington Beach, Calif. Three months after their formation, they recorded a demo in the garage studio of reclusive pop genius
For the first two years of the Trouble Dolls' existence, they were solely a studio group, recording soundtracks for spaghetti-westerns-that-never-were on Matty's cranky four-track and making up bios about themselves that seamlessly blended fact and fiction (a practice which continues to this day).
On their way to becoming a proper band, the Trouble Dolls recruited Gabe Rhodes, a filmmaker and one-time member of the San Francisco band Scenic Vermont, to play drums after he moved to New York in early 2001.

It isn't clear which "Camden" Trouble Everyday are referring to in the title of the opening cut on their debut album, Days vs. Nights.
Trouble Everyday are all about distillation: At under a half-hour, Days vs. Nights economically maneuvers through 11 songs, each complete with air-tight structure and an endlessly hummable refrain.
Trouble Everyday even offer what could be construed as acknowledgment of this problem when on "Camden", Costill sings, "Hey you, what you think about the new fad?" Unfortunately, Costill's ironic salvo will likely do little to stop the knee-jerk reactions against his band.

The near-shooting comes just two weeks before the Acushnet Avenue bar is scheduled to close for 30 days -- a penalty imposed by the city's Licensing Board after hearing complaints from neighbors and testimony that police had responded more than 100 times to the area of the bar since last June.
The bar's reopening is contingent on it fulfilling several conditions, including installing a system to monitor people entering and leaving the bar; instituting a summer closing time of 11 p.m.; and providing a detailed report on how bar officials will cooperate with police and neighbors.
Leontire said the Band Club has already appealed the board's decision to the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, but the appeal will not affect its closing.
