Rumors started flying around that Trustkill was being bought out or whatever because my lawyer and I had meetings with all the majors to see what kind of deals they were offering, and most of these majors wanted to just buy me out 100% and keep me on as President.
Trustkill is still the same label run by the same dude that goes to the same shows every week.
Trustkill has gotten big enough where I have gotten press kits from pretty big names that have been dropped by majors, and I could probably sell quite a few records if I signed them, but I don't.

Many of hardcore's heavyweights are on their books, or were until they risked the wrath of certain, dyed-in-the-wool fanatics by moving to a major label (Eighteen Visions, Poison The Well etc).

This DVD item from Trustkill Records was reviewed on 5-Aug-2006.
Most of the bands on this DVD are 10 times more hardcore than Slipknot, and they prove it with their music, not simply thinking they´re bad by putting on some silly masks and spewing F*ck every other word.
This kind of music is notoriously hard to record (and play) live because of the complexity but most bands pulled it off.
