  Tsou
When headhunting was prohibited during the period of Japanese occupation, the Tsou were made to bury the heads of their enemies in the open space in front of the meeting house.
The Tsou believed that the gods of heaven and war would descend by means of this tree and enter the meeting house during the victory ceremony.
The Tsou had a taboo against cooking fish in their houses, and the pots used for cooking fish could not be used for cooking millet.
