With jumpy and freaky action sequences he had the readers by the edge of their seats, while captivated by the atmosphere brought by the very imaginative worlds and character designs.

Yes, aside from those two, he's also partnered up with Marvel and created Snkit!, which is basically Wolverine in a Blame-ish setting.

The story is carrying far more dialogue than issue one, which is great because issue two is fleshed out to the reader more as the first issue left tons of questions and puzzlement.
I hope just like Kia Assimiya, Tsutomu Nihei gets a chance at one of the X-books after this series!
That’s how good the art is. It would be great to see how he tackles the other x-cast members.

Basically, the plot here is a thin MacGuffin on which Nihei hangs a relentless series of chases and gun- and swordfights between Killy and escalating waves of humanoid robots, disfigured mutants and spiny-necked mutated robots with guns for eyes.
The art is actually quite good, with an eye for detail and architecture.
