		Kusanagi made several long visits to South Korea in 2003, auditioning and appearing on variety TV shows and commercials.
		Kusanagi loves jeans, and he was chosen as the "Best Jeanist" for five years until 2003, at which time he was inducted into the Best Jeanist Hall of Fame.

		A master at evoking dread in the most ordinary of settings, Kurosawa puts his peculiar stamp on this adaptation of the novel Séance on a Wet Afternoon, which was previously adapted for the screen by Bryan Forbes in 1963.
		In her third Kurosawa film, Jun Fubuki (Pulse) stars as Junco, a Tokyo housewife whose clairvoyant gifts have brought her to the attention of a university psychologist (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) studying the paranormal; he's particularly intrigued by the idea that a person's doppelganger, or double, may be a harbinger of death.
		Although Junco's genuine psychic abilities impress him, he has nothing to offer her in the way of work, so she returns to the modest house she shares with her husband Katsuhiko (Kurosawa regular Koji Yakusho), a sound-effects engineer.

		If anything, it's more of a fantasy movie, the way "Field of Dreams" is; both films bring dead people back to life, but does it in such a straightforward and non-threatening manner as to make the supernatural occasion innocuous and the means irrelevant.
		When dead people starts returning to the small Japanese town of Aso, government official Kawada (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) is dispatched to uncover the "truth".
		A plus for the movie is the exceptional cast, led by Kusanagi as the weary official, who realizes he's way over his head but soldiers on anyway.
