 | | In a letter sent to Peggy Gensman and the Tualatin Times, as well as a reprint of an article from the Baton Rogue Sunday Advocate, they informed the citizens of Tualatin that in 1960 the Louisiana Legislature declared Breaux Bridge the Crawfish Capitol of the World. |
 | | The Tualatin Business Association, the Jaycees, members of the Sheriff’s department and City Council, as well as concerned citizens, all debated on whether to permanently cancel the festival. |
