The venerable and utilitarian Herbert P. is reminiscent of the canal tugs of old in that she has a hydraulic retractable wheelhouse, and modern in the sense that her bow is adorned with two pushing knees.
Lovingly restored to mint condition, she has won numerous awards at several tugboat competitions and is a former Waterford Tugboat Roundup “Tug of the Year.” We hope to see the return of this wonderful tug in 2005.
Rob Goldman is an ardent sponsor of the Tugboat Roundup and the mighty Ben is not an uncommon sight at Waterford’s docks.
