  The History of Tulln Air Base
Tulln Air Base was known as the Aerial-War School.
Tulln, Schwechat, Zwolfaxing, Munchendorf, Ebergassing, and Gutzendorf Airfields were inspected and a detailed report drawn by General Snavely in which he recommended Tulln as suitable for United States needs and that the U.S. claim sole control of Tulln, the British at Schwechat, and the French at Zwolfaxing.
Fliegerhorst Brumowski (Tulln Air Base) is primarily a helicopter and light fixed wing base for reconnaissance search-rescue, and firefighting.

 Constellations at Tulln airbase
It is known as Tulln airbase but (it is in fact closer to a place called Langenlebarn and the actual name of the airbase was Brumowski airbase, named after WW I fighter pilot Godwin Brumowsky).
Tulln Air Base, now Fliegerhorst Brumowski, was located deep in the Russian Occupation Zone and approximately 21 miles west-northwest of Vienna (WIEN), Austria and just south of the Danube River next to the village of Langenlebarn.

When I type "Tulln" in the options from Weather-Panel, I get the error, that "Tulln" is not in the Database.
Thank you for your answer! But "Tulln, Austria" does'nt work - I get the message: "Cannot check if forecast for this location is abailable"...

I retired from the Air Force on the 1st of May 1971, with 21 years total service.
