TULSA, OK- The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League announced today that head coach Garry Unger will not return behind the bench for the upcoming 2003-2004 season.
Unger and Oilers owner Jeff Lund were unable to agree to terms on a new contract that would allow Unger to remain the coach of the Oilers.
Last season Unger led the Oilers to an 18-2 start, the best in franchise history, but finished the season with a record of 37-22-5 and out of the playoffs for the second straight season.

January 15, 2005 - Tulsa Oilers left wing Todd Marcellus scored two second period goals to provide all the offense the Oilers would need to defeat the Fort Worth Brahmas 2-1 on Saturday night at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
After a scoreless first period, Marcellus put the Oilers on the board first in the game when he hammered home a centering pass from the left wing side to give Tulsa a 1-0 lead at the 5:20 mark of the second period.
The Oilers protected their one goal lead in the third period despite a frenzied Brahmas offensive attack.
