Tupac Huallpa (?-1533) was a puppet Inca Emperor of the conquistadors during the Spanish conquest of Peru, led by Francisco Pizarro.
Tupac Huallpa and his people did not know that the Spaniards were using him to take control of Peru and steal the gold treasures of his country.
Tupac Huallpa died of small pox in Jauja in 1533 soon after he was crowned the Inca Emperor by Francisco Pizarro.

Tupac Huallpa Inca, a younger brother of Huascar and Atahualpa, had somehow survived Atahualpa's purges of potential rival Incas in Cajamarca.
After Atahualpa's death, the Spaniards appointed Tupac Huallpa as a puppet-Inca and ensured he was crowned with great pomp and ceremony.
Unfortunately, Tupac Huallpa grew ill on the Spaniard's subsequent march to Cuzco and died at Juaja in 1533.

The first Inca of the Tahuantinsuyu, or Inca empire, was Pachacuti (1438 CE – 1471 CE), he was followed by Tupac Inca Yupanqui (1471 CE – 1493 CE), Huayna Capac (1493 CE – 1527 CE), Tupac Cuci Hualpa Huascar (1527 CE – 1532 CE), and, finally, Atahualpa (1532 CE – 1533 CE).
They were: Tupac Huallpa (1533 CE), Manco Inca Yupanqui (1533 CE – 1545 CE), Sayri Tupac (1545 CE – 1560 CE), Titu Cusi (1560 CE – 1571 CE), and Tupac Amarú.
In 1572, the last of the Inca rulers, Tupac Amarú, was beheaded and Tahuantinsuyu officially came to an end.

 Huayna Capac
He was the son of the Tupac Inca Iupanqui and the empress Mama Ocllo, and succeeded his father in 1483.
His real name was Inti Cusi Huallpa, or "Sun of Joy," but, as his father celebrated his birth by making the principal chiefs dance in the square of Cuzco with a thick golden chain of 350 yards long, the prince was henceforth called "Huascar," from this chain.
He was the son of the Tupac Inca Iupanqui and the empress Mama 0cllo, and succeeded his father in 1483.

Some successful Inca rebellions against the Spanish did occur, such as when Manco Inca, next in line after Tupac Huallpa, organized the recapture of Cuzco from the Spanish in 1536.
The later rebellion led by Tupac Amaru is the source of the names of 20th century South American guerrillas Movimiento Revolucionario Túpac Amaru (MRTA), and the Uruguayan Tupamaros.

Manco Inca (brother of Atahualpa) was put on the throne because the Spanish thought his presence might thwart the rebellion that was brewing against the Spanish.
It was in this temple that the Incan goldsmiths and craftsmen created cast gold and silver models of the creatures of the world, such as butterflies, other insects, jaguars, llama, guinea pigs, etc. Another room within the temple held the mummies of past Incan emperors (Jones, 192).
Tupac Amaru (brother) was deposed, and was beheaded in 1572, with the Spanish conquest of the Vilcabamba state.

She was a heichera-colla (Quechua for sorceress-queen--J.T.) and, in addition to her queenly duties, presided with the high priestess over a religion devoted to a goddess of the moon, whose name, unfortunately, is lost to history.

After Atahualpa's execution, Pizarro installed Atahualpa's brother, Tupac Huallpa, as a puppet Inca ruler, but he soon died unexpectedly, leaving Manco Inca Yupanqui in power.
He began his rule as an ally of the Spanish and was respected in the southern regions of the empire, but there was still much unrest in the north near Quito where Atahualpa’s generals were amassing troops.
