DANIEL FOLLMER, son of Henry, was born April 13, 1806, on the old homestead in Turbut township, and there passed his entire life, buying about two hundred acres of the original farm taken up by his ancestor, upon which was erected a fine stone house.
A prominent man in his district, he served in various township offices and for many years was a trustee of the Follmer Lutheran Church.

"Frederick Stamm of Turbot Township, Northumberland county, was evidently one of the sons of Nicholas, having been born in Bern Township, Berks County, near the Bern Church, Feb. 17, 1782.
Frederick Stamm died in Turbut Township Sept. 11, 1859, aged seventy-seven years, one month, twenty-four days, and is buried at the Paradise Church.
He was a Reformed member of that church and active in his congregation, which he served many years as deacon and elder.

Researcher's Note: These are probably members of the Freeland / Vreeland family who defended Fort Freeland in the 1779 massacre in present-day Delaware Township, Northumberland County.
Researcher's Note: I am trying to track down John Bossley, as he shows up in the Milton census with slaves later on.
(And he's in the 1790 Northumberland County census as John Bozley with 5 slaves and 2 "other free." Old maps put him in the area of present-day Washingtonville, which is Derry Township, Montour County, but that may be someone by the same name.

I have researched this Kerchner line even though I am not a descendant of this Kerchner immigrant because this family group spelled the surname exactly the same as my immigrant family group.
They also settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania, only a few townships away from my ancestors.
I have attempted to find if there was any connection between the two families.
