Rhabdornithidae; Philippine Creepers, a small group of birds from the Philippines that is variously treated as members of the Timalidae (babblers) or Certhiadae (tree-creepers).
Turnagridae; a group consisting only of the extinct Piopio, a bird whose familial affinities are unclear but which is often treated as a member of the family Ptilonorhynchidae (Bowerbirds).
Pityriasidae; a monotypic family consisting of the Bornean Bristlehead, an enigmatic bird from Borneo that has been considered a member of Laniidae (the shrikes), Sturnidae (starlings and mynas) as well as Artamidae (the woodswallows).

The South Island Piopio, also known as the New Zealand Thrush, was a passerine bird of the Turnagridae family.
This medium-sized bird was mostly olive-brown in coloration, with rufous wings and tail, and a speckled breast.
The North Island Piopio was a passerine bird of the Turnagridae family.
