Tuvan (Tuvan: Тыва дыл Tyva dyl), also known as Tuvinian, Tyvan, or Tuvin, is one of the Turkic languages.
The language borrows a great number of roots from the Mongolian language and more recently from the Russian language.
There are small diaspora groups of Tuvans that speak distinct dialects of Tuvan in the People's Republic of China and in Mongolia.

According to the etnocultural characteristics are all the Tuvinians are divided into Western Tuvinians (Central and Western Tuva) and Eastern Tuvinians (mountainous taiga of the East Sayans).

The Tofalar (or Tofa) language belongs to the Uighur-Oguz group of the Turkic languages, forming, together with the Tuvinian and ancient Uighur and Oguz languages, the subgroup of Uighur-Tüküi.
For instance, there are features of ancient Turkic in the Tofalar language, as well as loan-words and phonetic elements from the Ket language, several hundred loans from medieval Mongolian, some dozens of loans from Buryat, and at least a couple of hundred older loans from Russian.
Under the name of Karagas, some examples of their language were recorded in a comparative dictionary by P. Pallas (Linguarum totius orbis vocabularia comaparativa, 1787--89) and in a description of the peoples of the Russian Empire by J. Georgi (Beschreibung aller Nationen des Russischen Reichs, 1776--80).

It is pleasant, that the organizers found a translator directly from the Tuvinian language (she was not very fluent, but it is not so important) - it was possible to experience beauty not only of Tuvinian singing, but also of speech.
From a musical point of view were felt elements of Chinese, Mongolian and Turki' music (Tuvinians are Turki by language and Buddhists by religion); certainly, basically the songs were mixture of the those influences, though some "pure" specimens came across too.

But I have doubt wheather the modern nation of Kyrgyz are the most direct descendant of the ancient Khakaz, cuz modern Tuvinian language is different from the Kazakh-Kypchak language of the Kyrgyz.
Modern Tuvinian language might be the one spoken by 9th century Khakaz, but they might even be speaking a non-turkic language related to Ket-Arin.
So Eastern Yughur might be the original language of the 9th century Uyghur tribe and its subsequent offshoots in Turpan, Hami and Gansu.
