Tuzi - Wikitravel   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-07)
Tuzi is an small town located about 15km outside of Podgorica almost exclusively inhabited by ethnic Albanians.
It has nothing particular of interest except for the fact that if you are traveling from Montenegro to Albania from Podgorica or vice versa you'll have to take a bus to this town and make a fairly difficult transfer to some other form of transport.
About 10km out of Tuzi and towards Podgorica there is a wonderful stream that has cut a deep (30 meters) canyon into the flat plains that Podgorica and Tuzi lie on.

Pope's guards bemoan 'mission impossible'. 13/01/2005. ABC News Online
The chairman of the Italian Police Inspectors Association, Inspector Flavio Tuzi, says the men who patrol St Peter's Square are lightly equipped with a pistol, handcuffs and a walkie-talkie.
According to Mr Tuzi, the amount of information from the Italian and Vatican intelligence services about possible attacks has made for a difficult workload for his men.
Tuzi praised the level of collaboration between Italy's police and the Vatican's own Swiss Guard, which apart from its colourful ceremonial role has been responsible for guarding John Paul II and his predecessors for five centuries.

Flavio Tuzi, president of the labor union that represents most of the Italian police assigned to the Vatican's perimeter, said he went public because the 2004 alerts meant "the situation was dangerous for the crowd, but also for the officers."
Tuzi said, however, that Italy does have "invisible" security measures in place, including around and over St. Peter's Square.
Tuzi said there "could be" sharpshooters on buildings as well as undercover agents with cameras scattered among the crowds.

The army explained the movements of its troops in the region of Tuzi as "carrying out regular duties which are part of regular combat preparations".
