TwinBarrelsBurning saw Wishbone Ash parting company with long time record company MCA Records, with the album being released on AVM Records, a label set up by the band’s manager John Sherry.
As with Number The Brave, Andy Powell and Laurie Wisefield handled the bulk of the lead vocals (except for ‘Hold On’, which was sung by Trevor Bolder).
The guitar playing on TwinBarrelsBurning was, as always, admirable and Trevor Bolder proved to be a worthy successor to Turner and Wetton in the bass department.

This CD is a double compilation of some of their finest live moments from the last thirty years.
For me the interesting period is the period from 1980 -1982 when the band saw a fair bit of their popularity fall away particularly in the UK which is a shame as the albums recorded during this period remain personal favourites of mine.
