Twin Falls County is a county located in the state of Idaho.
Twin Falls County was created by the Idaho Legislature on February 21, 1907 by a partition of Cassia County.
In the county the population is spread out with 27.90% under the age of 18, 10.40% from 18 to 24, 26.00% from 25 to 44, 21.50% from 45 to 64, and 14.30% who are 65 years of age or older.

Located approximately halfway between Boise and Pocatello, Twin Falls is the largest city and the main commercial center of Idaho's Magic Valley region.
Twin Falls is perhaps best known for the September 1974 attempt by Evel Knievel to jump the nearby Snake River Canyon in a specially-modified rocket cycle.
Although the Oregon Trail passed through the region and a rail station was established in 1864 at Rock Creek near the present-day townsite, the Twin Falls area remained very sparsely populated throughout the 19th Century until advances in irrigation techniques made commercial agriculture in the area practical.
