This was the original TYCO chassis used by TYCO during the "Speedways" years from 1963 to 1969.
TYCO also made a longer wheelbase version of the TYCOPRO 2 chassis which identical except the front wheel mounts were longer and extended forward.
This chassis was a total departure from the "pan" style chassis used by TYCO used from 1970 to 1975.

The employees claim Tyco hid the true value of the company when offering its stock as an investment option in the plan and knew the stock was a bad investment.
Tyco argued that employees who wanted to represent the class weren't involved enough in the lawsuit and weren't typical of all workers who invested in Tyco stock because they relied on the financial information Tyco provided in differing degrees.

TYCO, a company known for it's trains as well as slotcars introduced their first series of "Speedway" H.O. slotcars to complement it's model train line in 1963.
Due to the use of a "S" prefix on the stock numbers of this series, these cars are now referred to as the TYCO "S" series by collectors.
Also, note how TYCO's logo changed with the CO in TYCO forming a figure 8 as in a racetrack.
