These vessels are a follow-on to the Type 15 Delhi Class destroyer and construction is expected to begin at Mazagon Dockyard Ltd. in 2005.
The P15A destroyer will possess enhanced stealth features and land-attack capabilities and is expected to add a new dimension in naval warfare for the Indian Navy, along with the Talwar {Krivak III} Class destroyer and the 'new' Nilgiri {Project 17} Class frigate.

After the commissioning of INS Mumbai it is now said that an advance class of these destroyers (Type 15A) "Bangalore Class" Destroyers will be build in Mazgaon Docks in Mumbai.

That is not a very good site, actully because on many classes it dosn't say wich year the ships are built, i don't want to pic a class and add it to my defences if it is taken out of service already.
For this it called on the necessary funds to replace all the oil burning carriers, and half the Nimitz class carriers with the new CVX carriers.
To the united states- we have been informed that you are retiring some of your Nimitz class carriers.
