Tyrolean has emerged from major cost-cutting that eliminated almost 1,000 jobs across the group, reduced salaries and decreased long-haul service in favor of higher-yield domestic and short/medium-haul operations.
Tyrolean has begun configuring the F100s for up to 105 passengers as they receive a complete overhaul and modification to meet AUA specifications, including installation of new onboard kitchens and new seats.
Tyrolean’s own instructors issue type ratings through, for example, the Lufthansa CRJ facility in Berlin, while it conducts F70 and F100 training at CAE (formerly Schreiner Aviation) in Amsterdam and Dash 8 crews go to the CAE training center in Madrid.
