 | | CHARLES McDOWELL, farmer, Section 17, Township 19, Range 8, P. Cottonwood Falls, was born in County Tyrone, Ireland, December 28, 1816, locating first in Belmont County, Ohio, where he remained engaged in farming until he came to Kansas in the spring of 1871. |
