The median income for a household in the township was $48,006, and the median income for a family was $51,750.

During the last four years of office he was the presiding officer of the board, and no small part of the present prosperity of the college is due to his clear insight in all matters of financial or practical nature and his earnest and energetic performance of the duties of his trust.

We have the blue counties of Ingham (Lansing/East Lansing) to the West, Oakland (Detroit Suburbs) to the East, Genesee (Flint) to the North, and the biggest problem of all, Washtenaw (Ann Arbor) to the South.
Hartland, Tyrone (which used to be competitive), Oceola, Marion, and Genoa Township are all strongholds.
The biggest question is if this county will start to turn towards the democrats due to people moving from other counties, much as that has been the case in Oakland County.
